Gone several times to Roae Pistola, enjoyed their brick oven cooked pizzas. Also had their steak which is very good. Nice place and some days they have a jazz group.

I ordered the ravioli served with an orange/rosemary sauce and it was light - for ravioli- and delicious.

I tend to be leery of Italian restaurants on Columbus Ave. but glad I tried Rose Pistola. It's just far enough off the tourist route that actual San Franciscans eat there. Real crispy, thin crust pizza and attentive wait staff.

My feet just always take me here. new menu every day...beautiful food, lovely staff....new menu each day. Pizzas are thin and stunningly good. We had an amazing meal here during our vacation to San Francisco. A friend had recommended it to us and we're so glad he did! We started off sharing some cheese and salumi plates, coupled with a marvelous bottle of red wine! My husband and I had pasta dishes and our kids had the steak and pizza. Everything was delicious!...

Took the family here after Beach Blanket Babylon. The food was really good. They change their menu daily.

Wonderful Pizza. Chopped Salad with Blue Cheese Vinegariette was yummy, too. Roasted Artichoke Salad delicous. If you order pizza and want onions, know that they are caramelized and sweet.

the garlic appetizer makes you smell for two days, but it's so good it's worth the odor
