This place is awesome! We got a margherita pizza. It isn't the best pizza I've had, but it's definitely quality wood fired pizza. Quick friendly service. Priced appropriately. Neighborhood is full of strip clubs and a bit sketchy, but we had no issues. Go here if you get the chance. More

Arrived around 5pm on Saturday and waited 20 minutes to be seated. We were a party of two. We had the spinach and parmesan pizza and it was exceptional. Service was great and the pizza came out super fast. This place has a warm, authentic feel and we were fortunate to be at a small side table as opposed to... More

I walked through the green door at 6:15 to find the entire restaurant packed and was greeted by the strong smell of Italian cooking. The wait was a surprisingly short time relative to the crowd already waiting to be seated, and I was served a drink during that wait. My party of four was seated after around 30 minutes (I... More

Walked in at 5:10. Ten minutes after opening and the place was packed. Governor Jerry Brown was celebrating his birthday. With every seat filled and two parties, we waited only 40 minutes. The food was amazing. The Caesar salad was awesome. The spinach and fresh parmesan pizza excellent and the large sausage calzone was 15 inches. We ate and ate... More

Small, or perhaps feeling like a claustrophobic college town type pizza/pasta joint Our group of 8 sat at a long table next to a larger and louder table of at least 22 wearing tiaras and shiny things. I think it was some sort of bridal party that likes pizza and shiny clothes. Friendly waitress, who knew some of us for... More

Be ready for a long wait when you go! We waited for about an hour for 2 people, but it was well worth it. Delicious pizza! It is bit pricey but worth it! More

The atmosphere quaint and so charming. Seating was limited and somewhat cozy. Met a couple next to us that had been going there for 30+ years. The family operated restaurant was decorated like an authentic italian neighborhood spot. Their manicotti was wonderful. Most patrons were eating the various pizzas---all appeared amzaing. If you love local spots, you will enjoy this... More

While visiting SF recently my friends and I were looking for a late night place to get some pizza. We landed at Tommaso's. We had a mushroom and meatball pizza. IT WAS THE BEST!! If you want pizza in SF, you've got to come here! Perfectly crisp crust, delicious sauce, fresh mushrooms and great meatballs. Your search is over! More

Nothing fancy or pretentious here to get on the way of absolutely delicious traditional Italian food. Small place, they have about a dozen tables that seat four, and a long skinny group table that can seat more community style. Make reservations or show up right at 5 when they first open. They are very accommodating on menu substitutions. We had... More

We really loved the pizza!!!! I would recommend reservations as it is small and can take a while to get a table, but well worth the wait regardless. I wish they offered beer. They do have a great wine menu though... It can be a little loud, but it is so good that you forget about the noise... Must try... More
