The food was good was solid. I'm not terribly familiar with Indian food and the staff was very helpful in choosing something that I would like. Probably decent prices in terms of San Francisco prices.

close to Union square, we had dinner here for 3 times. tried veg + non veg dishes. i would say their veg dishes are far better than non veg dishes.
chicken biryani was horrible....

If you like indian food at truly reasonable prices, and yummy tasting, go here! The naan is soft and tender, the kababs yummy and the vindaloo and samosas ...yum yum yum. the 2 of us ate like kings and spent only $19!

Not bad. Decent food (my friends loved the tandoori fish) at decent prices. Nothing spectacular, but walking distance from the hotel I was staying near Union Square...

Terrific Indian food, perhaps the best in San Francisco for the price, and very consistent. The lunch specials are unbelievably inexpensive. My co-worker turned us on to Punjab, as she and her husband dine there several times per week. My favorite lunch is the lamb with creamed spinach over rice.
