A must do stop. 5:30 - 6:00 is Early Bird most days and worth waiting in line for. We have been there maybe 15 or 20 times and have never ordered an entree. The sushi and appitizers are too good not to pig out on.

Service is always excellent, the fish exceptionally fresh. The specials are always a delight, and we always happily over order so we can explore the menu. The Rainbow Poke is spectacular. This restaurant is popular with the locals. As you would expect, the fresh fish in HI is amazing and Sansei did not fall short. We sampled many different foods including sea urchin (not my favorite) and a few of the cooked items like the Shrimp Dynamite (awesome!). Overall, not cheap, but well worth the cash.

Make a reservation tues, wed, thurs fro 5:15pm. 25% off until 6pm and people with reservations are seated before the crowd waiting to get in. Incredible fusion of Japanese/Hawaiian specialties. Try the cold tofu for a real treat that most people never think to order.
