We decided to have our anniversary dinner here since we were conveniently staying at the Westin. I was initially skeptical about the idea of Italian food in Hawaii, but was pleasantly surprised at the smooth fusion Pulehu achieves. We ate early so we could watch the sunset, so we had the option of the 3 course fixed price menu. We... More

We ate early for the 3 course fixed price menu which had 3 choices for each course; seated at a front table (open air) overlooking the Coi pond, lovely landscape, and sunset. A perfect beginning to our week on Maui. We were greeted promptly, seated and ordered pre-dinner drinks. Unfortunately, our waiter seemed to disappear after filling our wine glasses... More

We were staying at the Westin Ka'anapali and decided to try Pulehu. While the menu has some awesome sounding dishes I was unable to eat many of the choices because of an allergy to mushrooms. And many of the dishes contained mushrooms in one form or another. I even asked if there might be a way around it, such as... More

This is a very well executed high end restaurant in a hotel property that doesn't feel like you're in a hotel. Open air feel set beside lovely gardens and koi ponds with a kitchen that knows what it is doing. Maybe not worth a drive from Kihei but if you are at either Westin or the Sheraton (with the shuttle)... More

Being an owner at WKORV we always visit Pulehu. It is a convenient location with good food. The entire restaurant is open with a view of the garden and the WKORVN complex. The management adjusted to a reservation foulup quickly and provided a pleasant evening.

The food preparation and flavors and presentation were superb. The view and overall ambience was beautiful. Our server, Drew, was a bit sub-par. Little or no personality and he went through his responsibilities more like a robot. Not to nitpick, but we should have been asked as each course was served whether we wanted fresh ground pepper. We shouldn't have... More

On 5/9/13, my wife and I had a lovely meal here, including wonderful service. The wild-caught, just off the Maui, Lanai, Molokai coast jumbo shrimp were magnificent with a sweet taste and very tender with just a hint of seafood. Never had shrimp like these. The caprese salad, with ripe picked Kula tomatoes, was one of the best I've had. The... More

If I could post the photo I took, I would. The view from the restaurant, the servers and the environment were all top-notch. Fantastic restaurant! Highly recommend!

My wife and I have eaten at Pulehu 3 times in the past couple of years. The view and setting are almost worth the price---fantastic. The food is overpriced and only average with smaller portions. You're paying for the ambiance, but it's worth at least one meal here just for that.
