The fish and chips were great. They give you plenty to eat. Atmoshere is good. Very friendly employees. Prices were good. Only downfall was they did not have spam at this location at this time. Would recommend this place as well.

The food was very good. Lots of locals eating there. Prices were reasonable. The native food was a little salty.

I was really excited to try Da Kitchen; I had heard good things from a few locals. Instead, the only thing that saved the meal was the salad (which I must admit had an AMAZING tropical fruit dressing). The teriyaki beef was overdone/oversalted and the kalua pork was waaaaaay too salty.

Lots and lots of great food. The service is outstanding. Every time that I go into Kahalui , lunch at the kitchen is a must.

I have eaten here spanning 12 years. The prices are 25 percent higher and the meals are still a pretty good value. There is noticeably lots more rice and less meat or fish than before. It, no longer has the appeal it once had with its signature aloha plate. In a pinch, one can't go too far wrong eating here.

Mom and I shared a dinner from here. Was the fish of the day. Was told in advance that one dinner was enough for two people. Well it was enough for three!. Not exactly healthy, but satisying and tasty.

Da Kitchen was recommended to me when I picked up our rental car from the airport and asked about someplace local to eat at. The group I was with all loved what we got. The mixed plates, fish tempura, and saimin were all huge so come hungry. It's definitely a place more locals than tourists go and is worth a... More

We make about three trips a year to Maui since we have family here. Usually have a lunch or dinner at Da Kitchen in Kihei since (1) it is within walking distance, (2) has decent local food, and (3) is reasonably priced. No frills - just friendly folks and good eats (or grinds as the locals say). You will need... More

OMG! Not healthy, but a delicious treat. Had the fish and chips, and it was tasty. One order was enough for 2 people. Not fancy, but it was good food.
