Ok place to have family lunch/dinner. I was not very much impressed with the service and ambience.May be I had very high expecations!!!
went here for dinner before the movie (The Butler)...I've eaten here many times before, though for Thai, it's not normally my first choice...but it's in the same mall as the theater complex so it won out... ordered up some beers to chill us down abit...nice selection of bottled imports and domestics...all bottles, no draught...all imports abt 6usd and sis got... You already know what we ordered with our jasmine rice; the green curry. Medium-hot is plenty on the heat scale. But if you like HOT then go HOT! WE had perfect mahi-mahi cooked to a firm white, not that translucent see-through you always get when chefs don't care and over -cook everything. This fish was perfect in a black-bean sauce!... More
We were browsing the mall for food and came upon this restaurant, not far from the movie theater. Before sitting we asked to see the menu, still deciding on food since I'm a non-meat eater who didn't want salad. We said hello but received no response from the greeter. No worries, it happens. We looked over the menu as we... More
I have eastern in many Thai restaurants and this is one of the better meals. Especially away from home after a tired day it tasted so good. We only took a takeout on our way back to hotel from Haleakala. The food was tasty - not gourmet style but is well cooked clean and most importantly has Thai flavor. We... More
Tonight was date-night in Maui for us and based on a recommendation from a friend, we decided to have dinner at this Thai restaurant. Overall, the meal was decent. We split an order of veggie spring rolls to start. My wife chose the Pad Thai with tofu for her main course and I ordered the Rad Nar with chicken for... More
I love Thai food. I eat at Thai restaurants at home and when I'm traveling. I travel to Thailand regularly. I ordered Gaiyang (Thai Barbecue Chicken). It is described on the menu as; "Whole cornish game hen marinated in Thai herbs. Then grilled to perfection served with sweet and sour sauce." When done correctly, this is a wonderful dish. What... This little place (in Kahului) is as good as I've had when it comes to Thai. And the prices? For Maui, you simply can't beat it (both of our dishes were $13.95. I had their Phad Thai--great.. My wife had their Coconut curry chicken--great. Great service, too.
We've been dining here for years now. It's our favorite Thai restaurant on the island. Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. They don't take reservations and there's normally no wait for a table despite their small space. The menu is HUGE. 95 ala carte items to be exact. Atmosphere: Nice wood decor & art work. A bit homely and... More
Tried again, but no luck. Asked about Gluten Free, but was told no free food. If a restaurant owner/manager/chef cannot understand what Gluten Free means in 2012, I give up. What about other allergies or ingredients? Can't they read what's on the can or box? If they don't know what's in their food, I don't want to be the one... More
