nice stop in Koloa for a killer Teri beef plate lunch. imho, as good a meal as you could find in Kauai. hang back, check the menu, order and just relax. you'll be eating on the beach or park soon, if you can wait that long!

We tried the fried shrimp/mahi mahi combo and the teriyaki/fried chicken combo. All four dishes were delish. Our main goal for food was to taste the island food. We got what we were looking for here. A steady stream of locals came through as we decided on what to get. The teriyaki beef was tender, the fried chicken had a... More

Great Food for cheap prices, really enjoyed eating where the locals eat and saving some major coin. Right next to the grocery store so easy to grab some beer for the hotel room. There looked to be some hidden picnic tables I missed so you don't have to stand to eat or sit on the front stoop like me.

OK the place serves the Hawaiian equivalent of fast comfort food out of a shack. On the side of a grocery store. In the parking lot. With no seating of their own. On styrofoam. But it's filling, warm, traditional, and good. Unless you are one really, rally Big Kahuna you can split one.

We stopped here twice during a recent trip and found the french fries to be the best on the island. They were generously served and were nice and salty. The burgers were oddly sweet and tasted like onion even when ordered plain. They were also willing to make a loco moco with a chicken patty in place of burger meat.... More

We dropped in here looking for a plate lunch. Considering the loco moco was $6.50 versus the $13 at Tom Kat;s 2 doors down it's no frills cheap takeout. It's local comfort food nothing fancy and it gets the job done. Overall its a little like trying to justify good cheese enchilada's for a certain price. At some point all... More

This place is a little hile in the wall place in the main town just on the side of a supermarket. It seams to be really popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Food is really cheap amd good size helpings. We tried the fried shrimp playe and it was excellent.

This little hole in the wall snack shop is easy to miss, located in the heart of Old Koloa Town it is part of Sueoka grocery store. It has been in business forever and all the old timers on the Island will stop and tell you there story about their father bringing them there when they were a child if... More
