We dropped by the restaurant by accident. The staff were friendly and honest. We ordered dinner including a steak and the fish stew. My steak was good, came with a salad plus vegetables and fries. It was cooked the way I like it spot on. My husband loved the fish stew with shrimp, squid, mussels, clams etc. there were a... More

Read a couple of mixed reviews about this place. I used to enjoy Hokulanis, so we checked it out. Friendly staff, but I food was just ok. I had the minestrone soup and bolognese. Soup and main dish was bland and I had toad salt and pepper. I left disappointed, longing for the Hokulanis that closed.

Native Pastas & Steaks (formally Hokulanis) is still an excellent place to eat. They are less than 2 months in operation. They have the same chef and he does a fantastic job. The food is very good and the prices are as well. They do have entertainment on certain nights of the week. When there is no entertainment the atmostphere... More

Drove by here in December, 2012, and it appears to have closed. This sign was gone, the building looked empty and it did not appear that they were remodeling. We'd eaten here a few times and really didn't enjoy it. Wish they'd reopen Charley's Bar & Grill!

Kokulani's is probably one of the only steakhouse's in Keaau. The atmosphere is pleasant and the menu is varied; however, the food we ordered was just average and seemed a little overpriced for the quality. On the 3 occasions that we've eaten there, one of the times the service was slow and we had to make an effort to find... More

Hokulani's closed their doors two months ago after a year of declining quality in service and food. It was great while it was great, but not worth going to for the last year. We're hoping another restaurant that can maintain quality food and service opens in that location.

Hokulani's Steakhouse was a grand place to gather, but it is no more. Doors are locked and a big "Closed" sign is on the front windows. Not the first restaurant to fail in this location, but we are saddest to see Hokulani's go. Their food was good.

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident (it is in a shopping area, just off the freeway), and we liked it so much, we returned. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food was good. They served a good variety of lunch and dinner foods: steak, fish, burgers, chili, etc.

Loved the salads! I arrived with a bunch of friends and we split a few appetizers and stayed for drinks. I hope to come back again!

Ate dinner there last night. The boyfriend got the signature Hokulani burger & I got the blackened Ahi Ahi. The baked beans were my favorite! The side cesar salad was large & had the perfect amount of sauce. Cooked veggies were yummy. The Ahi was overcooked a little, next time I get something blackened I think I will go with... More
