This Café is across the street from my favorite hotel ever, Bridgeport Resort. The café is small but the food is good. The pancakes are wonderful! Waitress was friendly, has a small local feeling.

The food was good and so was the service. Never stayed anywhere that didn't offer a breakfast, so we hadn't ever tried The Steel Bridge Cafe.
Will not be going back as we had a very unfriendly waitress and the food was nothing special. Plenty of better places to go.
Enjoy discovering a "local secret" on the West side of Sturgeon Bay, nearly adjacent to its namesake, the old Steel Bridge on Madison Ave. Writing this revue makes me want to head back right now for breakfast. What a great diner, and without the resort area prices. They do their own bread and jam, excellent. I had an omelet made the way I wanted, no fuss. Spouse had pot roast, nice big hunks of beef and a nice rich gravy. Service was friendly and great, Not much for atmosphere, but it's a diner. If you want a...

Food was excellent. Service was good. Overall it was a nice experience. I had never had cherry pancakes and they were a great experience.
The cherry pancakes are a must and the atmosphere is wonderful! The pancakes are served with whipped butter, raspberry and strawberry preserves.
We ate breakfast at the Steel Bridge cafe this past weekend and once before in the spring. The staff is very friendly, it's a happy place, nice & clean. The food is good, but not anything "special". Our food was prepared correctly, arrived quickly and we both ate for $16.00.
