We had the Monks burgers from the place downtown in the past. These were just as good. The wait staff was good as usual

We went into Monk's on a Sunday night. We opted to sit at the bar as it was going to take a few minutes to sit at a table. I usually don't opt to eat at the bar side of restaurants, but it was comfortable. It had tv's everywhere, which after a few nights of eating out it was nice... More

When we were seated, the host said that Monks was known for their burgers and waffle fries. Great, just what we were craving. Upon looking at the menu, we noticed that most of the choices were run-of-the-mill. My husband ordered a burger which came out raw and then well done upon refiring. Not the medium he ordered. For our family... More

This was my 2nd trip to Monks at the Wilderness. The first time was with a larger group, so I figured that was why it was just average. We stopped here for an early dinner on a Saturday night. My fiance ordered the big burger (I forgot what it was called) and loved it. I got sliders and they were... More

Fish tacos were terrible, old shells. Wife's wrap had an old taste to it as well. Kids popcorn shrimp was burnt. Our food was not good. I wish I would have ordered a burger.

This place was simply the best! The food was excellent, but the service was out of this world. The waiter knew everything about the selections and could point us to places and tastes that were exquisit! A definate must is you are in the Wisconsin Dells area!

We like the ease of being seated at this location. It's kid friendly at the Wilderness location. BUT the burgers are not the same as the ones at the downtown location. My burger was just not as tasty as it usually is. We will still go to Monks just drive a little further for the better tast.

The food and atmosphere at Monks is awesome. I had the supreme nachos. It is an app, but is really a meal!! It is a mountain of chips, meat, cheese, onions, and black olives. It is just not poured on top of the chips either. There seems to be something on every chip. Awesome pico, guac, and sour cream. I... More

While staying at the Wilderness, my boyfriend and I ventured to Monk's one night, hoping to have a few beers and play some darts and pool. We were hoping since it was an actual bar/restaurant, it would be open later than the bars on the actual resort. Wrong. We each ordered a drink and nachos for an appetizer. The nachos... More
