I was happy to find a good Cajun place in La Crosse. I can't really tell you how authentic it is but I can assure you that the food is good and the restaurant is comfortable. Try the pasta.

Lots of great cajun selections done right. Service was good, not a huge lunch crowd so we were served right away. Can't wait to go back! I had the fried oyster platter...yummmy!
Well, not exactly. But we tried this place because we had eaten at the Waco, TX location and always enjoyed it. The menu here has a few local dishes (fried chee curds, although they weren't called that). Most of it is very good Cajun cookin'. I had the crawfish platter, which was crawfish étouffée, fried crawfish tails, rice and hush...

Ordered a pina colada which I had to send back (first time I had to send anything back at a restaurant), it tasted okay but definitely not a pina...

Great food. Good Service. Good Price. There are interesting options and I tried alligator and hush puppies for the first time at this place. I would go here again.
We make it to La Crosse 1-2 times a year for Alpine ski races at Mt. La Crosse--we like to eat at Buzzard Billy's at least once. I prefer the blackened catfish--never fails to disappoint. Service is generally good, but we're usually there when it's crowded so it can be a bit inconsistent--we usually don't care since we're usually with...

Had some great food. I got to try gator, crawfish and fried oysters. All was very good & I was impressed. The fountain pop on the other hand tasted old and our waitress was very nice to change our drinks for something different. Great experience and should be tried by all/
A great restaurant with a good atmosphere. The blackened chicken alfredo is the best I have ever had and I always go here when I am downtown!
Very interesting and comfortable atmosphere for all, including children, couples, college kids, adults of all ages! Fabulous menu, especially if you like Cajun! Amazing tasting food! Prices are a little upscale but the food portions are worth it! Worth a wait at the door! We went with our 6 children (ages 7- 18) and had a great nite.... came back...
