We always include the Summer Kitchen for at least one meal during our visits to Door County. Nino is the proprietor and remembers guests from year to year. The soup's are great (although the portion cups good be bigger), but don't overlook the Garden Salad.

We found this one summer a tiny place burried by flowers. We return every year and are never disappointed. The soup is wonderful...the flowers are amazing..the memories..priceless!

My wife and I came for the Early Bird Breakfast on 10-12-2012. I did not want to eat or to spend very much, so I simply ordered the corned beef hash "entree" for $4.95. To our surprise I received a small "plop" of hash on a small "salad" plate with half a twist of orange on the side. The owner... More

The tomato basil soup and fresh baked bread are to die for. There is a tuna, melted cheese, bacon, and tomato sandwich that is incredible....I get it every time I eat there. The service is efficient and friendly. We LOVE to eat on the screened in porch. This is a Door County tradition that will never get old!!!!!!

Very interesting soups; cookbook available. Homemade cider. I chose the soup bar ... choice of 4-5 soups, as many trips as you like. Service was excellent. You could probably go here every day!

French toast, quiche, hashborowns, a cheese omlette, all were just fantastic. And no, that wasn't all for me!! Our service was extra friendly as well!

We were prepared for a great lunch, but were shocked at the price of a cup of soup -- and not that great a cup of soup at that. It's charmingly decorated, though, which might offset the prices.

The service is wonderful and the soups are Divine. We always come here for lunch at least once when we visit DC. The service is fast a friendly. Now it is not a fancy place but it is relaxed and friendly atmosphere. My husband had the steak (Rib Eye) and loved it. I'm vegitarian so I had soup and The... More

The menu is extensive and there is a soup bar. The soup is pricey - over $5.00 for one cup (and it is a small teacup). You can also order all you can eat soup for just under $16.00 - and they will give you bowls (I just can't eat that much soup). My husband enjoyed the all you can... More

Every time I visit DC, we eat here at least once. It isn't fancy, but their soups are fantastics and so are their sandwiches and quiche. I have never tried their Mexican food because I can't get enough of the soup and sandwiches. Great service. Must do!
