If you are in the area and looking for a Mexican restaurant, give Casa Gonzalez a try. They consistently have good food at a good value with good quick service.
You cannot beat the food or the service at Casa Gonzalez. Our family eats there at least once a week. Ed and the rest of the guys are fantastic--super fast, friendly service. Within minutes, you'll have your drink and chips and salsa. The price can't be beat, especially with the lunch menu.
Food/restaurants are a real mixed bag in the WV panhandle area. Give this one a shot. Quality tex/mex at real good prices. Combination dinners are can't miss and some interesting dishes are also available. Real friendly staff. It's a run-down place- the bathrooms are tiny - but the food is terrific. Take the family there when we are looking for the comfort food of home. Being from the SouthWest, Mexican food is like home. Some of the items they serve are making due with what is available up here. It's hard to get fresh jalapeno's (for example).
Excellent food, consistent and good cheerful service. I eat there several times a month. Never disappointed. Not fancy and can be loud if crowded but always pleasant.

Other than that , my enchiladas were very good. The chicken was tender and moist, the corn tortillas were good, and so... More

My wife and I went to Casa Gonzalez yesterday for the first time in several years, and to our delight found it unchanged. The menu is absolutely standard Mexican restaurant fare, attractively priced. Service was quick - we were early, and first in the restaurant for lunch - but that is something we have come to expect. Our meals were... More
