We ate several meals here during our recent trip. The food was good for the price. Best meal was the Sunday roasted chicken. Fabulous. Worst meal was the Skinny Chicken- don't bother with this one. Breakfast was good. Service was good but rather slow, so don't go if you are in a hurry.

Food seemed to be homemade and tasted very good. Nothing fancy here. I had the spaghetti and meatballs dinner that came with salad bar and garlic bread. Salad bar was very limited but the variety of greens offered were tasty. The garlic bread was also great! My husband had the turkey dinner and said it was delicious. We also had... More

Love eating on the deck overlooking the Greenbrier River, but the food is only ok. Deep fried green beans are yummy. Everything else is only ok. Wish they would redo the menu.

Restaurants are lacking in the general area so we didn’t hesitate to stop when we found this restaurant. The food was fine…not outstanding but by no means bad. The atmosphere is kinda “cold”. The service was good and our server was very friendly.

Sign says they are under new management. The service was friendly. They even offered to let us use their telephone since there is no cell service in town. Meal was adequate. Dessert was a little pricey but good. Overall a fine meal with good service.

Good friendly service, cheap prices, and plenty of food. Not much too look at, but they make up for it in providing friendly service that is tough to find today even in big chain dining spots. They have a good menu with everything from chicken fried steak to vegetarian paninis. We liked it so much we ate there twice. Had... More

Restaurants in Marlinton are very limited..thought the view from the deck of the Greenbrier would mean average or better food. The view showed a shallow river, grassbeds, and too many ducks looking for a handout!! The menu is limited and we should have stuck to the burgers. Country fried steak was awful and salad was poor at best. We did... More

Greenbrier Grille is located on the river which is quite nice. We had dinner on a recent Friday night and the fare was just average. The wings were good and had an inetersting sweet/hot sauce. The service left something to be desired.
