My wife and I took out some and his girlfriend to Huntington Prime to celebrate his graduation day from Marshall University. This restaurant met and exceeded our expectations for this occasion. The staff were wonderful and attentive to us the entire evening. Every dish was prepared perfect - prime rib, filet, ribeye and the walleye. The sides were great and... More

It has been mainly hit with a few misses at Prime. I love that they support local farmers. The pizzas are great, the pork belly is always wonderful, the smoked gouda grits are to die for. I would pass on the bbq and the lobster mac.

We did not know much about the culinary scene in Huntington, WV, but we were pleasantly surprised. Huntington Prime is definitely worth a trip, the food was amazing, we had some of the best steaks and filets ever. Sure, the place was not cheap, but we were more than willing to pay for above-par food, cooked and served with love... More

This place is beautiful and admire the attempt for local ingredients. The salad bar and soup are not worth doing...I won't again. The desserts are the best thing on the menu!!!! Save room! I didn't enjoy the pizza but will go again because of the view and piano!

The restaurant came highly recommended by several local people and we were not disappointed. We were advised to make a reservation to assure the upper level part of the restaurant. Everyone in our group of 6 enjoyed their selections and the service matched the great food. I was tempted to go back the next night, but it is a bit... More

Not the attention to detail one expect from an establishment with lofty aspirations. It started with the hostess who left us standing by the entrance for a considerable amount of time , not explaining that the lift operator of an antique looking construction elevator was not on his post. They were definitely snotty when proffering an explanation or the lack... More

Huntington Prime is big city dining in the middle of Huntington WV. Every time you walk in the door you get a very cozy feeling. When you walk in you're greeted by the staff and there isn't a bad seat in the small but comfortable dining room. Behind the bar the fire of the pizza oven seems to invite you... More

My husband & I tried this restaurant upon arrival to the area...recently transferred. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our meals. We elected to dine at the upstairs bar and enjoy the piano player. Bartender was extremely personable & engaging....truly enjoyed our dining experience.

Huntington Prime offers a fairly nice menu from locally grown produce. The meals tend to be quite good and you can also eat on the top floor and get a nice view of Huntington, which adds an appealing atmosphere at night. However, the service is quite slow... and when I say slow, imagine a tortoise. Now, think of a creature... More

Went here for lunch and had the Huntington Prime Rib Dip which the waitress told us was the best (as I asked her about the burger) and she wasnt wrong it was a delicious meal! It supposedly is their signature steak sandwich, thinly sliced slow roasted ribeye, provolone cheese, sautéed onions, on a grilled hoagie roll and it cost around... More
