We expected great things from reviews and friends recommendations but neither the food nor the bar selection lived up to the hype. We had their specials for both starter and entrée. The starter was some sort of smoked salmon concoction and the entrée a chicken breast supposedly done with special coating or seasonings but it was just an average chicken... More

My teenage daughters and I ate at Lot 12 in April 2013 while in Berkeley Springs for spring break. I had read the reviews and was eager to try it. I was not disappointed. The restaurant is located in an old Victorian house which has been lovingly restored. We were in a front room with about 5 tables. They also... More

As a top TripAdvisor spot, Lot 12 didn't disappoint. Perfect gourmet food, romantic and cozy small colonial style dining rooms. Bar has 5 stools or so, no room to hang before or after dinner. Very enjoyable, thanks Chef Damien....

This is by far the best place to have a reliably delicious meal in Berkeley Springs. Service is attentive without being intrusive. You get the feeling the staff, from the owner's wife to your waitress, know when you need them, even before you do. The menu is varied enough to suit all palates. The jerk grilled shrimp appetizer was tasty... More

I dined here with a group of six girlfriends, and was originally concerned the atmosphere might be too "stuffy" for us. I'm happy to say the environment was quite relaxed and the food was outstanding.

I was really looking forward to this restaurant. We were there for Valentine weekend. I would give the atmosphere and service a 4 out of 5. For my meal and the value, I have to give it a two. I ordered the Pan Seared Duck Breast-braised duck & white bean cassoulet. The dish was served basically as sliced duck breast... More

Decent food, but menu is not so friendly for those with food sensitivities. Prefer Panorama at the Peak.

We've made reservations twice in the past, but for one reason or another had to cancel. Had dinner here last Sunday. It was an excellent meal. I had the hangar steak which was one of the specials and other half had the Osso Buco. Both were extremely good. I don't understand some of the comments saying the table were crammed... More

Lovely dinner on Sunday... 4 of us. Many standouts. The perfect way to end a spa weekend. Do ask to sit downstairs, as upstairs is just not as fun....

We don't get to Lot 12 as often as we'd like bc of the long, winding & dark road back to our WVA vacation home after several drinks or a bottle of wine. We're delighted we risked it for my Valentine Birthday dinner. We went on Feb.15 to avoid the lovers rush-Lot 12 was busy but not crazy. We snagged our... More
