Well this Texan moved up here like many other people and hasn't been able to find a good BBQ place....until now. I can name a dozen places in Texas to get good BBQ food and now this place will end up on my list of those places. Amazing food, awesome staff and fast service! Bringing the family here next time!... The Pacific Northwest is a great place to live and you can find great restaurants offering outstanding food in many cuisines. Unfortunately, that doesn't extend to BBQ and good BBQ joints are few and far between. My daughter has been going to Branks for a while and swears it has great food, but I had been hesitant to go because... More
We come here every time we are in the area, if not to eat there, then to take home some of their baked bean and ribs for later. They are not open on Sundays though.
After moving to Puyallup, WA a year ago, I had often passed the old, now closed, Branks BBQ on Main street in Sumner, and felt sad because I love BBQ and would love to have a nice one nearby. But a few days ago, when we were looking for a good place to celebrate a birthday, I discovered on Trip... More
Great ribs! the beans were awesome! and I'm not even a baked beans fan lol I got the ribs and pulled pork, the bbq sauce they had at the table was awesome, slathered everything in it :) The cornbread was tasty too Will go again!
We don't eat BBQ out very often, but this is our go to spot when we do. The fact that they have an all you can eat buffet is great when we take out family.

We were both glad we stopped in and ate here though, as we... More
Branks moved North along 167 but is still the same great food. We use them to cater events all the time and have never been let down. Ribs and chicken are the best. Their beans are a meal in themselves.
As earlier posts have mentioned, the sides are very good. We particularly like the potato salad. But you don't go to a BBQ place for the sides. The meats were dry and not terribly flavorful. The sauce tasted like it was missing a few ingredients. Service was friendly but slow.
