The food here is home cooking and delicious. The portions are large, so you may want to split a plate. They are well known for their pies! More

Lots of locals, wonderful wait staff, always crowded, don't go if you have trouble saying 'no'. Coffee and paper while waiting for food -and always interesting paintings on the walls. More

We had been visiting Seattle area from Fort Lauderdale for the holidays and had taken the ferry over for sightseeing in the general Port Townsend area. We all started to get hungry and were looking for a local place to eat. We decided to give this little café a try. What a find!! First, let me tell you what great... More

Best home made wild blackberry pie in season. Great pie selection the rest of the year also. Where the locals go. More

The Chimacum Cafe is a cute, dive-y type place on the main drive through Chimacum. Good burger and we heard they're famous for pie. We had great service. We sat near the window and because it's a small area, the staff was really loud. The view out the window is the main road and old buildings. However, this is one... More

If you've traveled through small towns in America, there's always a restaurant or two where all the locals go. They are often delightful places to capture the local lore and experience good food. The service is friendly, food is no-nonsense and your wallet still has a few dollars left in it. Chimacum Cafe is one of these places. OK, your... More

Okay... i've eaten at Chimacum Cafe many times and the food is always so so. It's not bad but it's not great either. Now the pie on the other hand... that's something to talk about. They have about 20 pies to choose from. Now I have not tried all of them but I have tried about 10 and all 10... More

I've lived in Washington for l5 years and on average we eat at the cafe 3 times a year. It has always been good--until now. Apparently, they have changed their cook and/or are going to less quality ingredients. Today I had a tuna melt that was basically inedible. The tuna seemed to be most darkish meat with little, if any,... More

I have been hearing about this place for a couple of years but last weekend was my first opportunity to stop for a meal. Oh...what a meal! My husband and I both ordered the biscuits and gravy. Turns out we could have shared one order or gotten what they call the "mini." I have not had such fluffy and mouth-melting... More
