Went on a quite weekend. Food was amazing and the whole ambiance was top notch. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.
The style of the restaurant is very modern and artisitc. Our server was terrific. The food is pretty good but not a great value. $134 for 3 people and we ordered modestly. The worst part of our experience was the air temperature. We felt that we were eating in a meat locker. The high ceilings, dark metal decor and drafty... More
I have brought several customers here for lunch. You can make a reservation and request a window table. They validate your garage parking. For lunch you can not go wrong with ordering a half Chopped Salad. My customers like the wide variety of soups, salads and specials. Service is prompt and a glass is always full with water, ice tea... More
We have been enjoying The Purple Cafe in Woodinville for quite some time. Business lunches have been more convenient at their Kirkland location. Now their Bellevue location is a wonderful combination of their quaint start in Woodinville, progressively their vision and singularity in style in Kirkland and their needs for more space since they are executing so many things, so... I made a lunch of almost all of their appetizers (and wine, or course): Steamers with calabrese sausage in a saffron broth. Gorgonzola stuffed dates. Spicy prawns with shoestring frites. Crab cakes with avocado and citrus salad. Bruschetta (very nice). Calamari (meh). Burrata and roasted beets (yay). Baked brie. I shared the food with three other people, and it was... More
Purple is an enjoyable, casual place to eat and drink. Although their food is average to slightly above average and their wine is pretty mundane, Purple has a great atmosphere and the fact that there is no corkage fee on your first bottle brings their overall score to above average.
Very cool place. It has both energy and romance with great food and even better service. Easy to get to with a parking garage right there that they will validate for you. This place has it all along with an incredible selection of wines to choose from. My only complaint is that there isn't one where I live.
I really like that I can go to a nice place and have quality, tasty food and still be in and out in about a half hour. Sure, you could make it a leisurely lunch; most people probably do. I don't have a long lunch hour but don't want fast food. They have a pick two lunch deal: soup, salad,... More
Heard about this amazing cafe and Wine Bar, read about it, their website looked great, but TOTAL let down, from beginning to end. The atmosphere was cold, and the seats were very uncomfortable, steel chairs, how welcoming is that to sit on for 2 hours... Service was awful, dinner orders got mixed up, meals were terrible, presentation, meh!, but they... More
My husband and I took our son and his girlfriend to Purple for a casual dinner on a Sunday evening...it was a relatively rare sunny day in Seattle so the crowd was light. We've been to this location a number of times and we've always had great service. They are well versed on their wine selection and food options. Very... More
