I was lucky to visit on a beautiful sunny day . . . great vistas of the Sound and the Seattle skyline from afar. The food (fish and chips) was good and the beer (local brew) was too - I tend to drink local beers when I travel and I was happy to find that they offered a nice selection... More

...I don't think we will come back. Fish and Chips: Fish consisted mostly of breading, the fish inside the breading was cooked to death, the fries appeared to have been seasoned with an assortment of spices. The American "artisan" beer unfortunately not my taste. Why such a large selection of beers and nothing international, no German beer? The service quick,... More

My wife and I went her during a trip to Seattle. Not knowing what to do on Bainbridge Island, we asked the concierge at our hotel (Grand Hyatt) if he had any recommendations on where to eat, he pointed us the the Harbour Public House. Glad he did. I got the clam chowder and wife got fish and chips. Her... More

We have eaten at the Public House several times at various times of the year. During nice weather sit outside with a view of the harbor and boats. Inside seating also has some views as well and great for cooler weather. This place is small when dining in the cooler seasons with everyone wanting indoor seating but if you haven't... More

This place is worth the ferry trip alone! The food is really good; local, fresh, and the specials on the board never disappoint. An excellent selection of local beer and wine ("bottle-less" on tap, innovative) Every time I have their feature cocktail, I have had more then one. This place is wonderful; poutine (the fried are amazing), great cioppino, fish... More

I visited during the week for lunch by myself, having caught the ferry over from Seattle. It is easy to find and and an easy walk, just follow the signs to town. It was too cool for outdoor seating, I was given a booth with a window with a view out to the harbour; it wasn't busy and I didn't... More

I had high hopes for my fish and chips..... fish was fresh and great quality, but prep was sub par... seasoning was lacking and was too greasy. Service and beer selection was nice, so overall a nice lunch spot if you are not expecting too much.

I found this bar/restaurant on the internet before we took the ferry to Bainbridge Island. I knew everyone would be flocking to Mora's for ice cream, and we wanted to find somewhere off the beaten path (with no children) where we could relax for drinks and order good pub food. Harbour Public House was a great choice! It is on... More

Came for lunch on Sunday. The restaurant was packed and the noise level was loud. They don't take reservations. Waiting time was over 30 minutes. I thought so many people are waiting to eat here something good is waiting for us, WRONG. Liked: view of the marina, good beer. Disliked:Food: Fish& Chips - $12.95. Fish not season at all, Chips... I ordered the clam chowder and a small green salad for take out. The chowder had a wonderful flavor; however, the clam shells in the soup were not a welcome addition. The salad was delicious and a nice companion to the chowder. It was a great meal and I would certainly eat there again.
