Family in Williamsburg for graduation. Ok we were in a good mood, but Blue Talon definitely helped. Unlikely quality for a tourist destination. The food was wonderful, as it was two years ago on a visit. The French bistro feel and menu are close enough to the real thing to safisfy any Froggy. More

My wife and I were in Williamsburg for our anniversary and wanted to have a nice dinner to celebrate. We chose the Blue Talon because the reviews on tripadviser were mostly OK and it was convient because we were going to the Celebration on Palace Green that evening for Armed Forces Day. Our friends, who live in Williamsburg, told us... More

We decided to try this restaurant for breakfast as our dinner reservations there had to be cancelled. We found it interesting that the Blue Talon offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. What a challenge that must be! The bistro is a popular place. We were there shortly after 9 AM and within 15 minutes or so, the place was filled with... More

Their breakfast is wonderful - an ordinary bacon and egg platter is cooked with delicious special spices and other very tasty items -enough for breakfast and lunch! A dinner shortly after was also full of well cooked food but not as spectacular as the breakfast More

I can recommend the chop salad and the chicken and mushroom crepes. Nice service, helpful staff, a bit tight, but I could talk with those I dined with. More

Best restaurant in town for those who tire of the 18th century. Bistro you'd expect to find in a much more cosmopolitan city. Won't return to CW without eating here. Its sister restaurant, The Trellis, is also very nice. A bit more upscale in appearance, plus it has a lovely garden patio that (unlike the Blue Talon) does not overlook... More

We stayed at a B&B just across the street and the Blue Talon became our after dinner "local pub." The bartenders were pleasant, service was good and the wine and beer list reasonably priced. We found the service equally agreeable the evening we had dinner. It is a little noisy, but not so much that we couldn't carry on a... More

Sorry you guys weren't up to a full meal but I promise you just got a poor version of a GREAT salad. The greens should have been crisp, local and organic, not from a huge bag. It sounds like we also skimped for some reason on your duck confit, which is never a good idea, as duck confit is like... More
