My husband and I always try and stop for a ham biscuit and to the pet the cat. We love the food, and the possiblites of shopping for knick knacks too. Always good. More

We had lunch last week at the Old Chickahominy House. I can honestly say it was one of the worst dining out experiences ever. Yes, the wait staff was friendly, as was the owner, and the prices were certainly good. But the "salad," "biscuits," "ham," and pie were just awful. The ham was salty and dried out -- looked a... When we were at a different restaurant, some of the locals we met said to try this. We loved it. Will be sure to try it again. More

Because of the rating in Fodors and some of the Trip Advisor reviews, we went her for lunch after my son's graduation from William and Mary. First of all, we put our name onthe list for a 1:30 seating and were not seated until after 2...when I checked with the 'host' to see where we were on the list he... More

When visiting Williamsburg or Jamestown do not miss this restaurant! Only open until 2:30 for lunch and breakfast make it a scheduled stop. Chicken and dumplings were excellent. My friend and I ordered the lunch special which for 10.95 each we got small bowl of chicken and dumplings, two biscuits with country ham, peach and pineapple salad with cheese and... More

This house, on Jamestown Road, is well worth the short trip from Williamsburg. Breakfast is fast, hot and good! While the square biscuits are NOT the Southern norm, they ARE good, as is everything else on the menu! A trip for their lunch is also a good idea, especially if you like Brunswick Stew. Afterwards you can browse their shop... More

The service was phenominal!! We got a table immediately and the wait staff was quick. The waitress that served our table was friendly and super helpful. She made great recommendations. Miss Melinda's special was awesome. The food came quickly and was tastey. It was reasonably priced (actually very inexpensive). I would DEFINATELY go there again and highly recommend. More
