Located at the Williamsburg Winery, this intimate and charming restaurant offers great food and attentive, knowledgable service. The decor is county French. They serve their own wines of course, with an additional small wine list. We had filet mingon (excellent) and duck (very good). Salads were fresh and creatively prepared. The chef starts everyone with a tasty amuse-bouche and each... More

Went here for my mother's 75th birthday. Entrees are pricey ($28-39) and come with sides, but salads are a la carte. My party shared two appetizers (excellent) and two salads (also excellent) with no surcharge for sharing, but not plated separately either. Our entrees were also quite good, though I would say my crab cakes, while featuring lump meat, were... More

Stopped in the middle of the week. Service was very attentive and welcoming. We had four different dinners and each person felt theirs was marvelous. Really nice touches from the amuse-bouche beginning to the complementary cinnamon ice cream finish, a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience throughout. We can't wait to go back. Outside of town next to the winery and inside... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Wedmore and decided to have dinner here our first night in town. The staff was very attentive and the menu was a fantastic. I had the filet and it was perfectly cooked. My husband had the crab cakes, which also were delicious, We enjoyed every last bite, right down to the... More

What a lovely experience we had! Three of us arrived way early for our 6:30 reservation. The young man who greeted us said he wanted us to wait awhile in the library, since we were 45 minutes early. He sounded Apologetic, but the library was gorgeous and the manager soon arrived to take our drink orders. Having cocktails in such... More

This was our second visit to the restaurant, and like our first time, we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The menu offers many gourmet choices along with a couple of nightly specials. We started off with the scallop appetizer, 2 large perfectly cooked scallops atop a bacon cream sauce, very tasty. We shared a light spinach salad which was topped with goat... More

This was the second time my husband and I dined at this restaurant and it was as wonderful as the first. There is considerable care taken in the preparation and presentation of the food. The desserts all sounded so good that I wished I could have hem all. We settled on the brownie with pistachio ice cream and it was... More
