Way too much salt in the chicken and dumplings. Took forever to get a waitress over to the table. Never got a refill on the iced tea but food was mostly home-cooked tasting

The food and service are average to fair. The wait staff is not attentive and the food portions and choices are lacking except for breakfast menu. Will not go back.

We ate at Cracker Barrel on a Thursday evening. It was delicious and service was quick and great! We both ordered chicken and dumplings. Everything that we ordered was fresh and tasty - even the slaw!
