Tried this restaurant based on the positive reviews I read on here. And might I say my experience was great! I went in with my 5 year old and 2 year old and we had a most pleasant experience. The coffee was good and the food was excellent; very nice portion sizes (excluding the juice which was too small for... More

Once we walked inside we just knew we would have good food - as this place was packed! It was only about 10am but just about every table was full. Families with kids, groups of construction or road workers,... More

The food quality was good (pancakes, waffles), but we had to ask for "real" butter every time we went there - there's nothing worse than pancakes with margarine! More

Pocahantas is famous for their breakfasts. Plan ahead during sumter months for the line to get in. It's often around the block. If you can wait, the crowd thins a bit after 11 am. They close for the day at 2 pm. My personal favorite is the crab omelet and the blubbery pancakes! Portions are huge here. The prices are... More

The Pocahontas Pancake House is a busy, busy place, but they turn the tables quickly and everything is very clean. The food is plentiful and I always get the pecan Belgian waffle, it is the best I have ever eaten. My husband gets the Western Omelet and he can rarely finish the whole thing. The family that runs this pancake house... More

The food is great, just a little pricey. Don't recommend if you want to eat on a budget for 2 people the meal cost about $30. More

Excellent pancakes & nice-size omelets. A little off the beaten path, so it wasn't too crowded. Only off-note was that the coffee wasn't very good; odd in a breakast/lunch cafe! More
