i would eat there again but we would not go out of the way. nice atmosphere but ribs were average portions small for the price. wait staff did a satisfactory job. not a bad eating place more of a drinking place.

This place is so good the Discovery Channel just visited to do a special on them. I've been eating here for years and it's a must.

Loud, efficient, and tasty: everything that's needed for a super barbeque experience. Anytime we're passing through Roanoke, we plan on stopping and eating this terrific food.

Bar-B-Q was like out of a can. Frozen fried okra; and if the french fries were "fresh cut" I'm a monkey's uncle. Nasty sauce collection from months ago in filthy bottles. Oh wait, did I hear blues? Ah, no. Service was okay.

Excellent BBQ and large portions! The sides are all delicious too and a small but great selection of draft beer!

Tuesday was live music night and we had a great time listening to Kelly Scott, eating southern food and drinking beer. Nice, friendly hospitable people too. Great pulled pork (a dish not an activity) and the tastiest fries. We went back again for the beer!

I have been to blues BBQ a few times and has excellent food. But tonight I never got my food and I was there for a hour and a half. The people behind us got there 45 minutes after us, but got there 15 minutes later. Very bad experience tonight.
