My fiancée and I tried out the tasting menu a couple of days ago in Jardin, what an experience! We were treated to 11 courses, some meat, mostly fish and a couple of deserts. The food was amazing, particularly the pork, the marinated eel and the scorpion fish. It is pricey, but in my opinion, if you want a treat,...

This refers to the bistro - the restaurant has its own epic level of priciness!
The Bistro layout is nice and it was very calm in a courtyard, and the menu has limited choices for the courses; my partner opted for the children's menu in the end - and it was not only very nice - it was superb value!...

Crisis in Spain is there, and you can feel it. There is actually not really a price gap between top places and half gear speed ones. If you are in Alcudia, looking for a great AFTERNOON dining and wining for a very reasonable upper end price, this is way to go.

Yet another successful visit to this emblematic mallorcan restaurant. The new tasting menu is excellent, the red prawn with garlic was an explosion of flavours of the sea and the ensaimada is to die for, very original.
There's nothing quite like El Jardin in the area...the menu is amazing and service fantastic. The sommelier recommendations were well worth the addition to the fixed price menu...although it's quite a lot of excellent wine...even for four people!
We popped into this bistro at lunchtime after a beautiful walk around the nearby S'Albufera de Mallorca natural park. We were off season but had heard that the creative tapas were served in the bistro. No tapas as we understand them. But there was a menu of the day for 17Euros with a choice of three tapas, a main and...

Our February visit to nearby restaurant Jardin had promise. It was well reviewed, offered a creative menu and was open when just about everything else in Port d'Alcudia was not. Our well-spoken host offered us pre-selected wines from his off-season cellar and on successive visits to the table quoted a different the bottle price! For a new bottle we asked...

My wife and I love Pto Alcudia,it is a perfect family holiday resort and we were surprised by the rather unusual location of this newly designated Michelin star place. However the tasting menu was memorable, she is a talent indeed this young chef!! The problem with our evening was the location itself in a very plain upper dining room with only...

The Jardin is unquestionably a cut-above decent restaurants in the area. The surrounding area is not salubrious and you have to pay attention to find the restaurant. Ignore the bistro and go upstairs for the main dining experience.
Service is sober, efficent and solicitous. The surroundings are quietly elegant and there are chasms between tables. We however, were a boisterous...
