The food stunk. My sandwich was OK, but the grilled vegetables were limp and gross. The chicken fingers (kids) were inedible. The only good thing was the beer. More

We waited so long for a table on President's day weekend, that it would be difficult for anyplace to have food good enough to make up for such a long wait. The food ended up being pretty good, that's all that can be said. Great casual atmosphere though! More

Very nice atmosphere. Lots of local and select brews on tap. No music playing, but heard it plays there a lot. Potato Skins were to die for. More

would try this place again, hoping we caught them on a bad night. ribs were dry, pulled pork tasty but dry. cornbread stale. mashed potatoes awful. mac 'n' cheese terrible. boo-hoo. place smelled great! a "joint" but totally ok for families at the tables. service was friendly. no wait on a non-holiday weekday. If this place prides itself by the name they gave thier restaurant, local folks smokehouse, I would highly reccomend they learn very quickly how to smoke ribs. I was appalled at the ribs my family was served. They were literally so dry I can honestly call them chipped jerky on the bone. What an absolute disgrace to have served a... More

Had a great dinner here the other night - plenty of great smoked meat dishes plus Tex-Mex style food. Very tasty and good value - many main dishes come with two sides. Excellent service and a funky vibe - loud but fun. We all enjoyed the meal. More

This place is the real deal. An old, weathered, barn like building, warm inside with a range of genuine artifacts on the walls, extremely friendly service and authentic country/rock music playing at a reasonable level over the sound system. The smokey ribs were astonishingly good, huge portions of course as this is Nth America and the local beers just fabulous.... More

I have been the Localfolk Smokehouse a number of times for dinner and beers. I have had the pulled pork, ribs, and chicken. All are okay bbq grub with a decent smoke flavor. The atmosphere of the smokehouse is great though. During dinner service can be a bit slow and it can be tough to get a beer when the... More
