I'm not a huge coffee shop person, but I popped into Black Cap, and was I glad I did! I had THE most delicious cappuccino I've ever had......and a homemade granola bar to go.........It's a super cute place, and next time I'm in Stowe, I'll go back and linger....

Great coffee. Stayed on Main street and was happy to have discovered this gem close to our hotel. We went every morning for our espresso, cappuccino and croissants. Sampled the Maple Sausage croissant and almond croissant. First rate and outta this world.

Great place for coffee and snack/breakfast. Pastry fresh , egg sandwich made ahead, OK, not great. Service fast & friendly. This place is always busy on weekends, you may have a short wait.

Looking for a good cup of coffee and a little something to go with it? This is the place. Several thoughtful choices of brewed coffee - or order a custom espresso drink from the barrista. But even better was the maple sausage/cheddar croissant. Delicious. The setting is great - books, cards, art work, nice comfy seating. I imagine it's impossibly... More

I usually have just coffee and a little pastry or something here but we decided to have a sandwich for lunch. I ordered a Ruben. 10 minutes later, the sandwiches were brought to the table in a little basket. There was no pickles or anything else. Between two thin slices of grilled panini was just one thin slice of corned... More

We enjoyed the fresh coffee and the freshly baked croissants during our stay in Stowe last week. We even purchased a print from their "gallery" at a good price which will remind us of the birch trees in Stowe. The croissants are limited so first come first served! The baker only makes a few so they run out quickly. If... More

Lattes are usually at the right temperature and that has been true more often than not. The atmosphere is inviting and there's always been a place to sit. My only warning is that the staff tends to get a little side tracked with their own conversations. It can be a little frustrating but once they break from their discussions they... More

Loved the hot chocolate and the staff is very nice. Big and spacious with lots of options to sit either on a big chair, small tables or even a bar area with 4 stools. The bar optioned worked well for me since I was there by myself.

Very nice and relaxing ambience. The items for purchase were eclectic and we purchased several of them. The cakes were chewy and the coffee was ok.
