Description: Located in the historic Marble Works district, our front yard features a view of the Otter Creek falls while our back court yard offers dining by the fire circle. An old marble processing plant, our interior has marble walls and high ceilings. We have an open kitchen and the main attraction is our primitive wood-fired oven where we bake your flatbread before your very eyes!

We were fascinated watching the systematic cranking out of one handmade pizza after another. They seem to have captured all the best of individual handmade pies made with fresh and premium ingredients and a really cool wood fired oven, combined with the efficiency of a well set up industrial factory. The staff appeared to be very well trained and good... More

Very enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere with very good "craft" pizza. Interesting ingredient choices (try the local sausage) made for a tasty meal. Many topping options satisfy everyone from the vegetarian to the meat lover. Good fresh salads and homemade desserts compliment the pizzas. Service was quick and thoughtful. Recommended. KG

The food was very good! We didn't wait at all for a table of 2 at 7:30 pm on Friday night. Large groups seated around our table made the service and atmosphere a little chaotic.

The best restaurant in Middlebury by far. The pizza is amazing and reasonably priced. I could eat it forever. Be prepared to wait a while if there during homecoming or parents weekend, though.

This was a fantastic dinner spot. We were traveling with a college sports team....so reservations were a must, but the staff was ready and waiting for us, easily handled the chaos of multiple orders/checks. Food was unique and fabulous. Service was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere, with the huge wood fired brick oven was great. A must stop place for dining... More

Our pizza-connoisseur son declared it to be the best pizza he has ever had, and we'd have to agree. It's not a quiet spot on a lively Friday night, but it was fun, the wait was not too long, and the menu was great. Pumpkin cheesecake was superb.

On a cool October evening there is nothing better than the warm, open oven and delicious pizza at Flatbread. Excellent, informative service, old beer, tasty salad, and excellent organic and local ingredient pizza.

We had eaten here a few times, and decided to host a dinner party for 75 folks coming in for a wedding. Danielle was very flexible, and the dinner went off without a hitch. Everyone had a great time and loved the salads, the original and creative wood fired pizzas, and the bonfire out back!
