the breakfast was continental, yogurt was nice didn't really like the cereal and the donuts apple cider was hiped up but they were heavy thick with fats and not tasted at all..
If you are a breakfast eater, the buffet is wonderful. A bit expensive but will worth it. There is a great selection. Service is excellent too. My favorite is always the omelets and muffins.
Beautiful room. Sunny and bright. Service is quite slow. Waited for coffee refill about 10 minutes. Food was good, but I've had better hash browns @ my local diner. Wife says the Apple French Toast "was to die for."
The Colonade closed several years ago & is now used only for Sunday breakfast & special events, such as weddings. The beakfast is very nice(though, I've been to better)It's along the line of classic old hotel breakfasts, which used tio be quite a ceremony in their day. The Wentworth/MountainView Grand/Mt. Washington hotel are real experts here.
Roast goose with all the trimmings, Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, and all the trimmings were all delicious. Caviar, Crab, Shrimp, Assortment of cheeses, Hot Pastas, Carvings, Butterscotch pudding...Room was beautifully decorated
