We were referred here by the inn keeper at the Killington Motel. He told us we would have a very pleasant and delicious dinner. This was undersated. The restaurant manager greeted us warmly even though we arrived a few minutes ahead of our reserved time. He escorted us to the lounge and promptly added a few more logs to the... More

Have eaten at many fine dinning establishments. Birch Inn has all the qualities that make me smile when it comes to good dinning. Fresh home made rolls and melted butter to start. Wonderful cocktail menu. The Service was outstanding from start to finish. I had the lamb which was out of this world. The portions were just right the meals... More

Dinner for two was $125 with three glasses of wine (including tax and tip). Excellent service. Delicious crab cake appetizer with very interesting and unusual home made lemon preserve and caper aioli. My roasted duck was a little dry but acceptable. My husband had spinach salad that was large and well-dressed. His choice of the evening special, a shrimp and... More

The owner provided great wine recommendations and the atmosphere is cozy. A great place for a romantic dinner or just a fun night out. Our server, Marissa, was on... More

We went to this restaurant and ordered two entres and a few drinks. Halfway through my entre I asked for an extra piece of bread and was told "Sorry, the chef does not allow extra bread if you didn't order an appetizer to prevent people from filling up on bread". Keep in mind this is a fine restaurant w/entres >... More

We just ate here after a full day if great skiing. We were looking for a quaint, rustic place that just felt like Vermont and this is it! The food was excellent, the staff was very warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is perfect. I will certainly remember this meal and this experience. More
