This is a warm, welcoming place run by nice folks. However, I find the breads consistently underbaked, to the point of being slightly gooey. They also tend to be overly sweetened. I believe this is a franchise, and that seems to be the baking style that it requires franchisees to follow. I find it sort of the "candification" of bread. More

My husband loves toast so I took him here for breakfast while on our mini-vacation. Having never been here before, we were shocked by the "samples" we were offered as soon as we came in: a full slice of anything that was out of the oven was offered from a display board! Hardly a sample - they are providing for... More

Walked in the door and the smell was amazing. Generous sample of a piece of bread. Bread was reasonable priced. Bought the Maple Cinnamon Chip and made it into french toast, I am so addicted. can't wait until we can go back and get more. :D More

Great Harvest is one of the best places in town to get an incredible loaf of bread. So many varieties of hearty, fresh-baked bread to choose from, and they give you a whopping slice to sample each time you visit. Their paninis and soups are great for a quick lunch. Limited seating indoors and out, but we've never had trouble... More

This is an outstanding local bread company. The staff is always friendly and helpful and they are always willing to slice you a sample of their product for you to taste. Their cinnamon swirl bread is to die for. Have that warmed with some coffee on a cold day and your stomach grins with happiness. More

Where else can you go and get substantial portion sized samples, and of fresh baked bread? Where else can you go and see the bread making process right in front of you? Where else can you get a wide variety of whole grain baked goods? Where else can you get a great breakfast and/or lunch fresh, healthy, and is a... More

This bakery/restaurant is one of the friendliest places in Burlington. The space is bright and cheerful with places to sit inside or out. As soon as you walk in, you're offered a slice of your choice of warm, fresh-out-of-the-oven bread. Their breads and rolls are absolutely delicious. I've also had their grilled/panini cheese and curried chicken salad, which were fantastic.... More
