My husband and I booked a sunset canyon dinner for my birthday, and I have to say it was one of the most memorable times I have ever had. From a beautiful location, to exquisite food, with every detail expertley atteneded to by Fio and Lisa. We were picked up at our hotel in St George by Leo, who is... More

Fio and Lisa were at our home in St. Louis on Sunday March 10th to prepare dinner for 13 of us. WOW! The meal was spectacular and the service was just as good. We are lucky to get to see them in the Spring and Fall of each year. We can't wait until our next "culinary adventure"! Thanks to you... More

Fio and Lisa are incredible. They host wonderful culinary experiences and I was thrilled with every aspect of the meal. Planning and execution was spot on. They are absolutely wonderful to work with.Their food is beautiful, inventive, delicious and very generously portioned. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much for an absolutely fantastic evening!

Wow! What an outstanding dining experience! Who knew there was such a jewel as this in the desert? Love the idea of dining in the great outdoors, but the food made it one of the most memorable evenings we have ever had! Do yourself a favor and book these guys when you can enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery around... More

Someone said Fio's was not a restaurant, and I agree. It is MUCH Better than a restaurant! Where else can you dine in a beautiful Southern Utah panorama where the food is as exceptional as the surroundings? We had considered ourselves "functional" eaters before our wonderful experience with Fio and we both have been forever changed in how we think... More

This special 70th birthday celebration in Saint Louis was step into another dimension. Each course of the evening was an exploration of Fio's palette of unique foods and flavors ranging from Marinated Utah Elk with wild boar bacon to French Escargot in garlic and herbs to Texas Longhorn Beef and Dakota Quail accompanied by spinach and yukon gold potato followed... Fio and Lisa, I want to thank you both and Leo as well for giving us such a beautiful experience. I was so touched by the little extra things you did to celebrate our wedding. The food was incredible Fio. A new adventure of taste for both of us. You are not only an incredible chef but also an amazing... More

We went to the Crawdad Canyon location. What a neat experience! Very private setting and a unique environment. From the desert you drop into a rainforest environment. It was in the 90's in St. George when we left. My wife was glad she brought her jacket because it is that cool in the oasis and near the stream. They thought... More

Unique combination of delicious food and beautiful nature prepared by a enthusiastic chef. Your surroundings are tall canyon walls, trees and the wilderness and the calming sound of the river flowing at your feet. The main attraction is the presentation, description and taste of the food which is so extraordinary. There is so much variety and he pays attention to... More

Again we return to the Country's only restaurant atop Smith Mesa. This time we brought friends and celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary. A magnificent meal was had by all and the view unparalleled. It's becoming hard to pass through St. George without seeing Rio, Lisa and Leo on Smith Mesa.
