The ice cream here is absolutely nothing special, and on top of that it's pricey. You can only choose from chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, and it doesn't even taste very good. Mcdonalds ice cream cones would be a better option.

We try to stop at Nielsen's Frozen Custard whenever we pass through St. George. They have the best frozen custard! To us it is much better than frozen yogurt or ice cream. They make it on the premises and always have chocolate and vanilla plus one other flavor, such as raspberry or cashew caramel. They also have lots of add-ins... More

I was actually still full from dinner but wanted ice cream anyway. It was soooo good. I had the cherry almond concrete. It did not disappoint. I was even more full when I left but it was worth it.

I can't speak for anything but the frozen custard, but it is worth fighting the crowd to finish off a night out. We typically pass on the expensive desserts when we eat out, but if we're in the mood for something sweet on the way home this is where we stop. I don't know if it is any healthier than... More

Stopped in yesterday while on vacation in the area. Never had frozen custard before so I had to try it. The Lemon is heavenly! So light and refreshing on a sunny afternoon. BUT the girl at the counter wasnt at all friendly, didn't even bother to greet us or even say thanks, and we were the only 2 people there other... More

They only take cash but this place was great. Wonderful young staff and the samples were generous! It's on a busy street but easy to get to.

I have eaten frozen custard in a number of places around the country and Nielsen's ranks up there with the best of them. The concretes are outstanding, good selection, and the custard by itself is also phenomenal. There are also pints and quarts for take-home.

I am not an ice cream fan... but Nielsen's Frozen Custard is amazing!!!! You can't go wrong with anything you choose, the custard or concrete. We always stop at Nielsen's when in St. George. You won't believe how smooth the custard is. Love it!!

Never heard of it before and read about it on trip advisor. It was really tasty. I think I prefer custard to ice cream. It's so nice to have a cold smooth treat that's not as sweet as ice cream. We had a Carmel brownie and a Oreo concrete. The kiddos were happy with the Oreo content however you could... More

They have sandwiches but we go for the frozen custard. Chocolate, vanilla, and a daily special. Our favorite is lemon. A very popular place. Out of town sports teams often stop in. When in Saint George we usually come here every evening. Except Sunday as they are closed then.
