Breakfast was very nice. The weather was prefect and we enjoyed being outside for breakfast. Everyone was very friendly.
The oaks provides beautiful views. It's nestled in the heart of Ogden Canyon. I prefer their breakfast over other meals, but they are all good. I recommend you get there early on the weekends or you may have to wait a little bit to get seated. Also if you get there early, you are more likely to get a window... More
The Oaks is in the Ogden canyon. Serves lunch and dinner. Outdoor dining in the summer is a delight. Wide variety on the menu and friendly staff. Tables on decking overlooking the creek. Flowers everywhere which attract hummingbirds by the dozens. And oh yea want to mention the ice cream bar.
I love this place! The ambiance is amazing. The food is great! I just wish that they would step of the service!! I have been here when it was busy and when it was slow and the service is always painful!!! If you plan to dine here you will need at least 2 hours.
Perfect place to stop on your way thru the canyon to Pineview/Snow Basin/Huntsville, etc. Good food, wonderful setting. Always try to eat outside if the weather is permitting.
They have great food and a relaxed setting. If weather is good get a table outside by the river. If you have a sweet tooth they have a large selection of Ice Cream.
This was a terrific stop on our trek through Utah. Set in a canyon and alongside a rushing river, the ambience is beautiful. The food was fresh, straightforward and did not disappoint. Incredibly reasonable prices to boot, with a beer and wine list (not often found in UT!) too.
Located in the Canyon, it is a tradition to stop for some Ice Cream of a meal. They serve Beer and Soft drinks as well..
The food is basic. But the outdoor seating is spectacular. I love their 'yard,' nestled among oak trees and giant planters full of lilies. The seating is literally right next to the Ogden River. The sound of the water makes a good hamburger into a great one. Very nice hangout with family or friends. You can also just stop in... More
We make a point to stop by here on our way back to Ogden from the mountain. It's never been overly busy the two times we've eaten there (off peak hours.) The food has been good, the people friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. The service might have been a little slow if I'd been in a rush, but I wasn't.The... More
