We have been to Kanab many times and were looking for a place for breakfast. Somehow we had never been to the Perry Lodge. There are 2 options for breakfast-- a buffet that includes juice and coffee for $5.99 and a small restaurant with a menu. The buffet had pancakes but the only egg option was a western scrambled dish....

We stopped for breakfast and were delighted by the helpful friendliness of our server. Our kid was sick and our server was sympathetic and understanding with our special requests made so that we could care for the kid without exposing any of their other guests to her illness.

Back in the day, when Hollywood filmed many movies in the area, Parry Lodge was where the actors stayed and ate. Lots of photos all around. The lodging, however, reflects the time period and is not the most spacious. Food is still great, though!

The biskets and gravy were very good as were the eggs, The sausage did not hit my tastebuds at all though.
Coffee was great and plenty of it. The service was fast and friendly. Quite enjoyed the hollywood memorabilia and the history associated with this place. Lots of parking and right on the main strip.

Kanab is still known as "The Little Hollywood of the West", over 300 of the classic Westerns were filmed here and all those movie stars stayed at classic old Parry's Lodge. The lobby is full of signed photos, which is fun,and the barn out back still hosts showings of the old Western movies as well as the annual Cowboy Poetry...

We enjoyed the $5.99 breakfast buffet---including coffee and juice. After breakfast, we spent an hour looking at the multitude of autographed photos of Hollywood & TV stars from the many movies and TV series that were filmed in Kanab.

We arrived about 5:30 p.m. No one was in the restaurant at the time, which made us a bit suspicious, but we thought we were early.
