I have eaten sushi all over the world, and this is exceptional. While being an enormous sushi fan (I'd eat it nightly if my wife would go along), I don't know a great deal about it, e.g. I feel there are likely various grades of fish a restaurant can buy, but am not certain. The fish at Sushi Sake just... More

I dare to say that it's the best sushi I had in the US. I love sushi and this appeared as a nice surprise. The staff is friendly and the food is fresh and delicious. Try Japanese egg soup, toro and rolls! You won't be disappointed. For lunch you can order a very affordable bento box! A good experience! Will... More

Sushi-sake is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The service is consistently good and the fish is always fresh. Order the Aji sashimi and after they are done with the whole fish they will deep fry the bones for a second course. Not inexpensive but worth it.

We had just been at Toyota of Richardson and finished up at around 9:15. Thought about Sushi Sake and looked them up and found out that they were open until 10:00. We were a little sketical going so late but was very pleased to get fast service, great food and another wonderful experience. We are neer disappointed when visiting them... More

I know, everyone knows, but I just want everyone to know how much my wife and I love Sushi Sake! We are so fortunate that we live 10 minutes way, or cursed! Where do I start? Start with Sake flight, and all else that is Sake. Ask server for recommendations. All is fantastic and you will not be disappointed!

I arrived early on a Thursday before the crowd rolled in. The server was prompt with warm towels and drinks. I don't remember the variety I selected, but I remember enjoying every piece.

A staple to the sushi lovers in Richardson/South Plano area. Good portions, when they have fatty toro its usually pretty good but expect medium toro (still good but its not like a good piece of fatty!) Get there at 5:30 before the crowd gathers other wise make reservations for a table. The sushi bar is a first come first serve... More

I had just finished a long day ,including being stuck on the highway for an extra 40 minutes. While chatting with the concierge we reviewed top places in Richardson. He promptly stated he did not like Sushi. I do so off I went to Sushi-saki for dinner. I sat at the sushi bar and started with a flight of saki.... More

This is as neat place to eat sushi and talk with the traditionally dressed sushi chefs. They are fun to talk with as they prepare your meal in front of you. Great atmosphere it is like being in Japan. The food is also very tasty and very fresh.

Was very hungry after coming off a way too long flight. Used to go the old location when I worked nearby. Back then it was a small hole-in-wall place with an upbeat decor. Now it is more of a "regular" Japanese sushi hangout, but still with the same great attention to detail in preparation. A bit noisy when I arrived,... More
