I just spent a month at Palacios Tx on the coast.Ifound the best sea food in the area at Bayside Restaurant. It was fresh, hand breaded ,and cooked to perfection.The service was great and the prices were very reasonable.I will certainly return when I am in the area.Try it,you will like it.

Very disappointed. The food wasn't very good the place is dirty. They charge too much for bad service and lousey food..15 o/o gratuity for the long wait. Don't go there save yourself the money .

Fish frozen - not local. Red snapper tasted fishy, but shrimp and vegies were fine.Will give it another try.

I stopped in this rresturant to have some seafood.I ordered alligator for starters and a combo platter for my main course. My alligator was too tuff to eat and when i brought this to the attention of my waiter he acted as if i had never eaten alligator before and said tuff is normal.WRONG.The fish i recieved was not catfish... Grilled red snapper excellent. Fried jumbo shrimp tough... try the smaller shrimps. I'm told the etouffee is excellent...

No trip to the Gulf Coast would be complete without lots of seafood, and the Bayside did not disappoint..... fairly diverse menu, generous portions and at reasonable prices.

Salad is very bland as we're the mixed veggies. The fried oysters were small but tasty. The batter could have had more seasoning. The scallops were excellent, lightly battered, juicy and flavorable.

Large place, great staff...after lunch rush. Had the fried calamari with dipping sauce, good portion for 2 people, great sauce! The fried catfish poboy w/fries was also enough for 2 people to share. The restaurant was quiet with only a handful of people. The menu selection was good. The food was good with a great price! The food presentation was good as was the service.
