Every time we visit Port Aransas we have dinner here at least once and this place never lets me down. I had grilled fish with a garlic cream sauce and it was so amazing I ate every bite. My husband(who rarely eats fish) always orders the blackened Mahi with the shrimp pico on top. We changed things up a bit... More

We really liked the crabcakes and gumbo. Both were excellent. The stuffed flounder was fine, but not as good as the other things we tried on our first visit here. It is clearly family owned and operated with friendly service and pleasant conversation. We will come back!

While the service seemed to be done by committee, the food was terrific and did not disappoint. We were meeting old friends for dinner, so maybe that was our fault as we dragged our feet a bit ordering. Our table ordered oysters on the half shell which were fresh and suitably briny, fried shrimp (some of the better ones we... More

We waited over an hour for our appetizer and watched a table of six get served their main course one person at a time over a ten minute period. Our appetizer and salad finally came at the same time, and then there was another 30-minute wait for the main course--Grouper Pontchartrain--which was a tiny piece of fish and half a... More

Excellent food and service. The very tasty lump crab cakes were almost all crab with very little filler. And came with a yummy rice pilaf with orzo and tasty zucchini and squash. They pour a large glass of good quality Texas chardonnay white wine for only $4.00. Real food and a fun funky ambiance make for a delightful dining experience.

Our food was ok. Blackened shrimp salad was good. Oysters were sub-standard and would avoid.Excellent key lime pie, and so much better than a piece we had at the Beaches Cafe and Bakery nearby. Unlike other reviewers had no problem with service, flies, or other annoyances, but it was April and not very hot yet. Not a lot of choices... More

Looks like a rundown shack but has five star food and service..the blackened stuffed flounder is probably the best in texas and spicy wow..even the tea was fresh with crisp smooth flavor. Server was very fast and professional and attentive. Prices were a little high But worth it. Worth a mention. .the dining area was cool and dark great for... More

Don't let the exterior fool you! What appears to be a run-down shack from the outside is serving up some of the best seafood in Port A. Absolutely loved the stuffed flounder. The service was excellent and open air dining on the wooden deck catching some sun was a big plus!

We waited for about an hour for a table, that was OK they were very busy and let us know. I am lactose intolerant and it seemed to be a very big deal to omit butter or cream from any dish. I got a piece of grilled fish...vegetables (butter) and rice (butter). Needless to say we were so hungry, I... More
