I can't say enough good things about the food at this restaurant. My husband and I ordered the grilled chicken breast with rice and vegetables and it was phenomenal. The chicken was so moist and delicious. The vegetables were an experience all their own. The bartender and waitress were wonderful. On the other hand, the hostess was snotty and made... More

The view on the patio is pretty at sunset and that somewhat made up for the service and the food. I have a shellfish allergy and had asked if the kitchen would be able to keep my food away from the shellfish being prepared for others. (This is something other restaurants actually ask that you mention to the wait staff.)... More

The atmosphere is good, Our waiter was friendly but scarce and it was not a busy time in the restaurant. We saw him so rarely that we just gave him our credit card without the receipt because we did not know how long it would take for him to come back with our receipt. We waited an hour for our... More

Trout Street was exactly what we were looking for. I had the "Catch of the day" which was Mahi served with Rice Pilaf and Green Beans and she had the Tenderloin with a Baked Potato. Both cooked to perfection. The service was great and the prices were just right for the market value. It was nice to get away from... More

The black drum & quail were done prefect. The waffle fries were under cooked. The rice side was hi hum. Good blue cheese dressing & vegetables. The prices are high.

3-6 happy hour. The view was nice. We got the onion rings and frozen margaritas. Both were good. I didn't care for the chicken quesadillas. $10 afternoon snack.

We had our dinner of gumbo and a mixed platter that was good. The salads were good. One of us had a COLD draft beer. It tasted real good. The dining room was quiet but this was on a Thursday night. I'm sure it is a little bit busy come Spring Break or the summer. We would go back.

Loud. Boring. Normal. Plain. Overpriced. Lackluster. Almost like Red Lobster, minus the Cheddar Bay Bisquits.

We're locals and Trout Street used to be a good place to eat. Six of us went there a couple of night ago and 3 of us ordered the chicken fried steak. After finallly locating a very small piece of meat hidden inside a rather large pile of batter, we found that small piece of meat to be very overcooked.... More
