Classic German food, good beer selection, nice (albeit too dark for my taste) environment. Prices are steep compared to other similar establishments.
A hang out for all beer lovers!Mass variety of beer and great place all year round!During summer out in the garden next to the fountain and in the winter, nice warm atmosphere, with a live show every now and then.Food is good but not fantastic.Would eat somewhere else and then go to Bayern for beers and french fries!Do have the french fries!
Very good German restaurant. Its food is very good and the variety of beers is huge. Service is excellent. The prices could have been dropped a bit (this is why it gets 4/5 in this review).
Good variety of beers and Good Food. There were also pretzels (limited every night) to munch on with beers. The atmosphere is a bit of a typical beerhouse closed up with wooden furniture and such which is nice for the winter but for a summer beer closed up in doors is so and so. Unless you sit in the garden... More
The local Greeks seem exceptionally fond of big piles of sausages with beer in the German style, since when we go out with them they're always taking us to this sort of thing. This bierhaus meets the need admirably. Spacious, comfortable and attractively set up, all wood and stone and serious-looking furniture, you'll pay probably around 20 or 30 euros... More
This is a hidden gem in Glyfada area, not central located but ask a local person to give you instructions how to go! It really worth a visit! There is a variety of food, starters, soups, salads, meat, sausages, and some desserts! Also there is a big catalogue of beers to choose from, bottled and beers made in the reastaurants... More
If you love the german cuisine and beer you should definitely visit this place! The best german food I 've had in Greece! Great atmosphere! Excellent service! The food is awesome and the decoration reminds you of Germany! The desers are also worth trying! Wide variety of beer.
although I would not recommend for indoors eating, the food is very nice food and you can choose from a great variety of beers. Only negative is that the spetzel should not be served precooked and microwave reheated.
I first visited this beer house back in 2004. It has since become my favorite place to have a beer and try German dishes. It has its flaws (namely, it's NOT cheap), but the outdoor seating is awesome (in a garden filled with trees, flowers, a small fountain and a outdoor bar) and the sweets are heavenly. When the waiter... More
It maybe hard to find it, especially for tourists, but if you like schnitzels, saucages and beer, it's one of the best places in Athens. The portions are rather small and rather expensive, but the quality is good. The main attraction is the charming summer garden in front of the restaurant, especially if you want to get away from the... More
