I used to go to Hungry's in Rice Village all the time when I lived in Houston years ago so I thought I would give this location a try. It is as expensive as I remember but certainly not as good. I got a Gyro plate with meat that looked slimy and undercooked for which I had to pay 3... More

We count on Hungry's at least once a week. They have great variety and something for everyone, including multiple choices for vegetarians. Love the jalepeno humus and wedge salad with the spicy dressing. The wraps are great, one of the best burgers in town, amazing flatbreads and fabulous kabobs. They have a very comfortable patio and service is always good.

Hungry's is one of those places that's always busy...and with good reason. Good food at good prices. During peak hours they offer table service, or you can choose to order and pick up at the counter. I would describe the menu as "Mediterranean with a Southwest Twist." Some personal favorite menu items are the Jalapeno Hummus, Black Bean Soup with... More

A friend and I visited this restaurant for lunch because I live in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is similar to Cafe Express with a self serve condiment bar in the center, but here it's a regular restaurants with table service. Upon arrival, we were seated at the table of our choice, and our waiter came by shortly to take our... More

No, this is not a play or movie. This is what happened us. My wife and I decided, based on Yelp reviews of course, to try the brunch this morning. We were seated promptly in the air-conditioned patio by Carmen. We asked for water and a coffee ($2.50) for my wife. We order a belgian waffle for my wife and... More

Even though their service can be slow at times, the Sat/Sun brunch always hits the spot. My favorite is the Santa Fe Breakfast Wrap but they also have a good Croissant French Toast. Now that they expanded their parking lot, we plan on going a lot more.

the worst decision I made was to hold a graduation dinner for my brother at this venue. Now I understand the difficulty that comes with servicing 30 people but this place is big enough to be handle it. The waitresses were not entirely forgetful but completely lazy. Instead of servicing they spent more time arguing about stupid little things. I... More

We went today to Hungry's in the Rice Village for brunch. It was crowded, but the hostess seated us with a smile. Our waiter greeted also greeted us with a smile, took our order, and even suggested we get a carafe of mimosas when we ordered 3 (1 for each of us). All seemed perfect. (I have been here many... There is something for everybody on th menu! When we dine there with friends, our vegetarian friends are happy, as are our friends with kids who are picky eaters. No matter what mood I'm in, I can always find something satisfying to eat. We've been eating at Hungry's since moving to Houston 20 years ago, although it was located further... More

One of my colleagues just took me here for lunch. Parking was easy, despite it being busy and ordering of the food and drink at the counter (table service also available) went smooth. However, after waiting 45 minutes for our orders to arrive I had to go back to the counter to investigate and seemingly they'd overlooked our order. They... More
