Very good service. Went here for a group function. They have a great private room. Food was nice and nice wine selections as well. I've never been for a small gathering though.

We frequent here when we have celebrations. The food is delicious and good as Italian can be. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want authentically prepared Italian food. I've been to Italy 6x's so I'm picky.

I don't give a lot of bad reviews unless it's actually bad...I even waited a few days so this wouldn't be a "pissed of customer rant". So...We saw Damian's on TV about it being a Houston restaurant for a long time and it was great and all...it really wasn't. Penny ordered a shrimp dish that was actually not bad(on par... More

This is a romantic restaurant complete with white tablecloths and veteran waiters. There are so many amazing dishes to choose from. We went with two of the fish dishes. Excellent preparations, one came with shrimp and the other with crab. The portions of fish and shrimp/crab were very generous. A moderate-sized wine list provided many reasonably priced wines. The waiter... More

First of all, I want to commend our waiter Ben for his most excellent service. He is a true professional in customer service, which seems to be a forgotten quality in our busy world. Speaking of busy, this restaurant was extremely busy and a little noisy, but the quality of service and food made up for the bustling activity in... More

Ate here with 4 friends. It was good...really good. But something is lacking. I had Osso Buco for the first time. Enjoyed it. Friends had pasta, various types. I'll be honest, all of them looked sort of....overdone. I didn't try any, so maybe the taste was better than the look. But all of them agreed the next day - they... More

Our family of 6 adults and a ten year old, celebrated our daughters 16th wedding anniv. We ate in the kitchen ($75) per person 6 courses. The ten year old got to cook with the cheft, he had a great time. All the food was outstanding and boy did all of us overeate. The staff was great.

We had dinner last night, before a Broadway play. They have a great shuttle service, but be Sure to reserve your seat for the bus, when you make your dinner reservation; they get very busy before a performance, but service never falters...especially if you are lucky enough to have Rueben as your server. He is friendly, knowledgeable about the menu... More

We went to Damian's for drinks and snacks as part of a casual get-together with friends and ended up having our evening meal there. This is the sort of older, traditional restaurant you might find in Italy. White jacketed waiters, older style interior, subdued lighting and quiet background music. The whole place felt homely and welcoming. The waiters are definitely... More

Unpretentious but very good Italian restaurant. Superb service from waiters a few of whom have been with the restaurant since it opened thirty years ago. Very good selection of Italian wines, although few non-Italian wines. Free valet parking. Free shuttle to Houston Theatre District less than two miles away, although we did not use it.
