Wonderful food. Make sure to try the stuffed shrimp!, boudin balls were an unexpected treat. Something for everyone.

This place gives you a lot of food, but the food tasted like it was frozen shrimp from the grocery store. Not exactly a good meal.

Three years ago in 2010, we had a wonderful supper here. Today, for a late lunch, we came for good food at a reasonable price. It is not romantic and you won't find white table cloths but you will find fried fish, fried shrimp, chicken tenders and even boudin balls (among other items) cooked to perfection. They had lunch specials... More

The food is modestly priced and quite tasty. It's an old neighborhood place tucked away from Galveston's touristy stuff, a sure sign that locals support it. You order at the counter and get a number. Nothing fancy, but a good place for a good deal.

If you like fried seafood...you will LOVE this. Our group had the fried catfish, gumbo, fried shrimp and oysters and the shrimp poboy and shrimp salad sandwiches. We all tried them all and there wasn't a disappointed tastebud in the house. We sat outside in a seating area between the two restaurant buildings, sipping fantastic sweet tea and gorging on... More

This place is laid-back, no frills, and SO GOOD. I generally am not a fried seafood person, but their shrimp were just great. My son had the tilapia, which was also good, and my husband enjoyed the combo that had shrimp, crab balls, and oysters. Good cole slaw, tarter sauce, and loads of fries I didn't even touch because everything... More

I don't normally like fried food but seafood was fresh, hand breaded and plenty of it. The boiled shrimp was prepared properly and staff was very nice.

Lots of fishy options available and it's always fresh. Just try and grab a table outside or in the added room, as in the main room it can get fairly stuffy due to the fish frying. Will gladly always return for some fresh fish

Some of the worst food we have ever eaten. The first "F" Flies, Flies and more Flies The second "F" Frozen - the shrimp and the fish were of the frozen mass produced cookie cutter shaped portions The third "F" - fried - till hard I have had better seafood at Capt. Dee's. We will NOT go again. - Did... More
