We were in Galveston for the weekend to attend a wedding. During the day we wanted some Italian food and made our way down to Mario's Seawall Restaurant. We were seated right away and were served by a very nice young lady who was both friendly and knew the menus quite well. I got my usual Fetticani Alfredo and the... More

Ashley was great, food was good and the atmosphere was nice. Everything was home made... I suggest the crispy artichokes.

My family and I travel to Galveston once or twice every year, and we make a point to always eat at Mario's at least one night of our stay. Love it. Great pasta, and yummy desserts! The staff is very friendly, quick and the view of the gulf is amazing!

This place was awful. During a busy weekend we should have known better when we walked in and the place was nearly empty. Tried ordering an absolut martini to start things off. The waitress did not understand what a martini was and kept asking if it was vodka. We told her yes, an absolut vodka martini. She comes back with... More

My wife and I were visiting Galveston for the weekend and wanted to find a good pizza place. To our dismay we ignored the many warnings about the poor service at this place. We waited 30 minutes for a table, and then another 10 minutes for a waiter and only got served because we flagged down another waiter and then... More

Not extremely expensive and good food. The vegetables were very fresh and the flavor of everything was perfect. The decor was very authentic. The service was OK. The view wasn't great because there are two abandoned old restaurant/bars on the beach across the road. You can see the water but the buildings are an eye sore.

I'm in Galveston for the IM 70.3 Texas. Looking for a place with rich, balanced and healthy mix is always tough, especially when your new in Town. This place pasta is amazing! Great taste, right sizes, great service.

We went Sunday to check out the Brunch. IT looked and smelled good, However some of the food was too close to the front door. We couldn't find a Brunch Menu to see what was on the food line to decide if we wanted to eat from the Brunch menu or not. SO...... We decided to just have a few... More

The food is very good...and that's what really matters...however, the service was terrible. I think our waiter was new. He looked confused every time he came to our table. He forgot our water. Brought out our son's meal long before ours, screwed up the pizza and gave us the wrong size. We sent it back and he same back with... More
