OMG OMG OMG! Awesome steaks in ANY sizes, well aged and marinated. Ours (prime rib bone-in) was cooked to perfection. For appetizers, highly recommended to try the foie gras. Reservation highly recommended (but they are accommodating for last minute changes), ample parking.

The Steak was excellent; the bar service was friendly and warm; the drink size was generous for a very reasonable price; the potatoes au gratin were OUTstanding and so were the onion rings.....and my son appreciated the creme brulee desert--which was comp'd by the restaurant because of his college graduation.

I had the 16 oz ribeye and roasted mushrooms. If I had been served this meal in a steakhouse chain restaurant I would have been pleased but it was only good, not great. The mushrooms were nicely seasoned and cooked and the portion was generous. The steak, which I ordered medium rare was very slightly overcooked and not as tender... More

This restaurant is one of Dallas' finest! If you are in the area definitely check it out....the steak was delicious and the servers were very kind and attentive. They also have a superb wine list.

This place is the EPITOMY of fine dining..."let me tell ya something"....I made dinner reservations for me and my wife's 3rd year anniversary. I was greeted with a happy anniversary right off the bat. The girl that walked us to our table said the same. As we were walking to our table, another employee said the same! Dang - I... More

Wonderful atmosphere.. Ideal for a truly special evening. First course of bacon wrapped scallops were fantastic. Loved the fact that the waitress was attentive but also gave us plenty of time to make our selections..enjoy our wine and conversation without ever feeling rushed. For the main course had filet and lobster tail with side of aspargus and potatoes...oh so good.... More

I was in town for a business and was delighted when reservations were made at Pappas Steakhouse. The decorum set the tone for a great experience, similar to the two I had experience three and five years ago. The staff was knowledgable and friendly and was well trained in serving business dinners. The food came at the right time during... More

I was first introduced to Pappas Brothers chain of restaurants in San Antonio, it was an interesting concept two restaurants on the same property one high quality Tex-Mex and the other a New Orleans great gumbo and seafood! Then I began calling on Houston and got to try Pappas BBQ and then Pappas Steakhouse on Westhiemer. Entertained many customers there,... More

I don't eat steak often but when I do I love Pappas! They have the best rib eye. The service was outstanding with never any long moments before the waiters were checking on us. The lighting was low to create that intimate setting with your party. The sides were great, especially the asparagus and mashed potatoes. Yes the steaks are... More

Maybe Bern's in Tampa slightly overshadows this great place, but they're pretty close to neck and neck. Doubt you could find better steaks anyplace else. Yeah, it's not inexpensive. The sides are BIG. Don't order one for everybody in the party. Wine list is very extensive, but some significantly over-priced. Some four or five times retail. Service was attentive and... More
