I've dined here several times, and I would not suggest going on a special day/holiday with a fixed menu. You do not want to miss the macaroni and cheese! The staff was professional and courteous. I recommend a goat cheese salad with sun-dried tomato vinegarette with the petit filet. However, at the end of my last visit, the manager was... More

Once again I got snookered into going out to eat on one of the girly holiday’s. 1:30 reservation turned into a 3:30 check. Food was great but the crowd appeared to be a little out of their environment. Is it too early to start making a plan to avoid Valentine’s Day? PS the brunch is a really good value. More

Not one of our party of seven had a disappointing dish at this busy steak and seafood restaurant. From Chilean Sea Bass to the Filet - presentation, seasoning and temperature were spot on. Portions are large so be careful ordering appetizers and al la carte side dishes. None of us had room for dessert. Service was attentive but was a... More

We have lived in Dallas 30 years - but never been to Al's until last night. We finally understand what all of the fuss is about! We were celebrating my husband's birthday and when I made our reservation I requested a booth. We were greeted warmly and our booth was available right away. Our server (Jesse) was wonderful. When we... More

Beautiful restaurant with great food and service! I had the luncheon filet and coconut cream pie - both were some of the best I've ever had! More

We really enjoyed our night here but it was not our favorite place. Pros: great bar scene... The BEST mojito I have ever had...ask for Eduardo...you will not be sorry! A fun, happening place...the "in" place in Dallas...decent service. Cons: Food was very good but not worth the price, dessert was just okay...busy and loud....have to yell out to each... More

You should order this if just for the smell! I once called ahead and asked them to make a lobster pizza as a surprise for a beau; it was just like being transported back to Bequia or Grenada. Great for a long leisurely self indulgent lunch and a quiet/white tablecloth/seamless service/get dressed up dinner date destination. More

This place has to be one of Dallas' best restaurants. In a building to itself, valet is in the back. Atmosphere -best. I don't think you can find a better steak. I also love the seafood. Small bar. Sometimes it can get noisy so ask for a tabel in the back. More
