We visited this restaurant many years ago on a trip to Dallas. It was that good, so we decided to go back. Wow, things have changed. You used to be able to pick and grill your own steaks. That was gone. The food was just okay, nothing special for the price. Our server was very friendly and helpful though. He... More

It was late in the evening by the time we were settled in our hotel and we asked the woman at the desk for a restaurant recommendation for salads. She sent us around the corner to The Butcher Shop Steakhouse. Our attentive & most accommodating server (Shem) agreed to add sliced steak to my wife's spinach salad ($13) while I... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my steak dinner. I ordered the Milet Mignon, medium rare. It is soooo good that it melts in my mouth. Add a side salad for additional $1.00 only. Good deal. More

I went to dinner with a group of my coworkers hoping to enjoy the full Dallas Steak experience and wa keenly disappointed. The waiter was extremely disorganized and out of his element. It took a long time for hime to get our drink orders and then most of them were mixed up. It took quite a while for him to... More

I was very disappointed! My first problem was the bartender making my cosmopolitan with stoli instead of gray goose as advertised. When I questioned him, he was very cocky and tried to give me a lesson on vodka. I told him I would accept the stoli because it is a good vodka but if I order a top shelf drink,... More

I went with my husband for Valentines day, had the garlic rib-eye. The food was good, but the service was kind of poor. I didn't feel welcome there, my husband wasn't too thrilled about the service either. Im willing to give them another shot, maybe the waitress was just having a bad day or something. More

The Butcher Shop allows you the experience of picking your own steak and if you want, you can cook your own steak. This is a fun place especially with out-of-town visitors. The steaks are great and it isn't too expensive. More

A group of business colleagues and I ate dinner here on a Saturday evening. All of my British colleagues went for the steaks and were well impressed. I had the jumbo fried shrimp, which were indeed huge and very delicious. Since it was January, the outside seating area was closed, and being without reservations, we had a long wait to... More

We went last night for dinner - this place is somehow off the radar for being known but should be top of the list. Great atmosphere and good food. Our server was attentive without being over the top, the food was great, good portions, great tasting and good choice. The steak was cooked to perfection and to my specification and... More
